Die Liturgie von Herbert Howells ist erstaunlich modern und au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich herausfordernd. Arvo P\u00e4rts ber\u00fchmtes Magnificat, f\u00fcr den Berliner Staats- und Domchor geschrieben, nimmt den H\u00f6rer durch schwebende Rhythmen und fulminante Akkorde, welche sich um den immer gleichen Ton der Sopranistin herum auft\u00fcrmen, in Bann.
