Im 19. Jahrhundert wurde Berlin neben Leipzig zu einem kirchenmusikalischen Brennpunkt. Komponisten aus der ganzen Welt kamen hierher, um beispielsweise den Domchor und die Singakademie zu erleben. Im heutigen NoonSong ist mit Werken, die für Berliner Chöre geschrieben wurden, dieser Glanz wieder zu erleben.
