In diesem NoonSong erklingt eines der berühmtesten Werke frühbarocker italienischer Vokalmusik, das siebenstimmige "Lauda Jerusalem" aus Claudio Monteverdis "Marienvesper". Der venezianische Meister gruppiert zwei agil-lebendige dreistimmige Chöre um den Tenor herum, der stoisch den Psalm im Kirchenton rezitiert. Auch die weiteren Hauptwerke dieses NoonSongs führen uns ins frühbarocke Italien, dabei ist bestimmt das achtstimmige Magnificat von Allegri, welches erstmals im NoonSong erklingt, eine Entdeckung.
