Der heutige NoonSong führt musikalisch 1000 Jahre zurück, zum Ursprung der notierten Musik. Der einstimmige liturgische Gesang verschmolz im ersten Jahrhundert arabische, griechische und jüdische Musikformen. Um die Jahrtausendwende erreichte der gregorianische Choral als hoch differenzierte Kunstform einen Höhepunkt. Die schwebende, meditative, fremdartige Musik zieht heute, über 1000 Jahre später, mehr und mehr Menschen in ihren Bann.
